This has been on my mind a lot. We all want to figure out a way to reach the top, do well, or just barely get by. But what very few of us do is look inwards.

We’re always looking out there for something to tell us what the answer should be — in listicles, in motivational speeches, in biographies of those who made it (or didn’t).

And the answers that lie within us gather dust.
